Vegan Diets? Good or Bad

When Vegans are asked why a vegan diet (sometimes called strict or pure vegetarian diet)? The answers are all different. The answers could be cruelty to animals to eat healthier, to be a new religion, and so on. I respect peoples way of life and faith. This item is not on a diet, or the establishment of peoples beliefs, but to inform the public of a Vegan diet. So I do not expect someone to my faith and my lifestyle disrespect. I'm not putting any emphasis on crueltyor religion. This is just strictly from a nutritional point of view.

I hope that if you have decided to go Vegan has your research. There are many health benefits of a vegan diet, but that said, there are many health risks as well. I guess, live in a vegan diet is a contradiction, so if you have done your homework and not properly planned.

First, write the benefits of a vegan diet:

1st Contain less fat and cholesterol and higherLevels of fiber derived from vegetarian foods.

2nd Lower serum cholesterol. increase whole-fat dairy products and eggs serum lipid levels may by saturated fat and cholesterol content

3rd Blood pressure. Studies have shown that vegans blood pressure between 10-15 mm Hg lower than non-vegetarians of the same age and sex tend

4th Lower cancer. A high intake of animal fat and a diet high in meat may be replaced by a risk of colon cancerIncreasing the concentration of various carcinogens

5th Thinness. Dietary fiber may decrease absorption of food by 2-3%, leading to a feeling of fullness that may reduce the excessive food intake. Vegetarians have also been associated a lower risk of obesity in conjunction

6th Lower diabetes have been associated with higher consumption of nuts and whole grain products, in conjunction

7th Vegetarian diets have been to a decreased risk of developing various cancers associated with.

8th Regular fruit andVegetable consumption has also linked to reduced risk of fatal heart disease such as heart attack, angina pectoris, stroke and ischemic heart disease.

So there are many benefits of a vegan diet but can turn the table for a second. What are the risks of a vegan diet, if not properly planned.

1st poorly planned vegan diet can be deficient in nutrients such as vitamin B12, vitamin D, calcium, iodine and omega-3 fatty acids.

Osteoporosis asBy a lack of calcium causes bone demineralization

-Rickets in children because of a lack of vitamin D

-Iron deficiency anemia due to low iron storage. A study showed that 27% of women and 5% of men were lacto-ovo-vegetarians had low serum ferritin levels (iron storage)

-Macrocytic anemia due to vitamin B-12 deficiency. This has been observed in infants be breast fed by mothers who are strict vegetarians

Emaciation, or slow growth in vegetarian infants andChildren

-Another problem facing vegetarians is low protein quality based on digestibility and amino acid composition. The risk associated with the protein quality of plant foods, is a lack of certain essential amino acids, which are based in natural combinations found in animal protein.

2nd Low energy deficiency in the form of calories, especially in children.

3rd Maternal vegan diet was also associated with low birth weight and five times lowerProbability of twins than those who eat the dead animal products.Several cases of severe malnutrition and child mortality have vegan diet as being related to some with a poorly planned and provoked criticism of vegan diets for children.

4th A vegetarian diet can be selected to camouflage an existing eating disorder, especially in teens.

So you have decided to adopt the vegan lifestyle, think about it, or you're living it. Where are you going to get your vitamins and minerals? Iwould suggest that taking supplements with your daily dose of each permitted load. If you're not sure you are always your daily dose are not the research on the food you are going to eat. This is proper planning. If you still are not sure, go doctor or nutritionist and explain change to your new lifestyle. You can switch this warning but steadfast. Tell them that's why they are there to see. So you can get your proper nutrition while a Vegan lifestyle.
